Financial Report        

• Healthy year again with a current balance as below. More then enough for deposits and eventualities

• Final accounts balance at end of season £1683.54. A full statement of accounts was handed to all present

Membership Fee         

• Will remain at £10.00 with £5.00 singles entry.

Handicaps      

• A BIG change for adjusting handicaps this year - Those coming 1st, 2nd and 3rd in competitions will get cut.

• Member handicaps will NOT increase or decrease at any other time.

• The previous system used was similar to R&A i.e.:

• If your handicap is 0-10, you drop 1 shot for winning
  If your handicap is 11-20, you drop 2 shots for winning and 1 shot for 2nd or 3rd
  If your handicap is 21-36, you drop 3 shots for winning, 2 shots for 2nd and 1 shot for 3rd
  It was agreed that your handicap will remain the same unless you win a prize. I.E. if you score 38 pts yet come 4th, No cut!!
  Honesty – If you play on a regular basis and your handicap is less then your society one, change it? You’re only cheating yourself after all!

Chairman's Report 

• Many thanks to all our sponsors and to all who attended the golf days and other events throughout the year

• Because of problems confirming holiday places, a 50% deposit will be required for the European tour. Locations under investigation – Benidorm, Alvor & Vilamoura

• Is there an alternative to Dale Hill for our weekend away? Please advise the Captain.

• Xmas dinner - venue to be confirmed.

• Possible Summer BBQ.

Captain’s Report 

• Members total 35     Membership Fee Currently £10 p.a.

• Reservations            Notice is required to book your place at each golf match, please inform the Captain by the required deadline.

• New Shirts              No change of club shirts this year.  Light Green shirts with sleeve logo are available for new members.

• Proposed dates       See the web site home page for future venues and directions.
